On the 20th of May 2017 in the city of Rzeszów, south-east Poland, a new world record in the longest motorcycle burn-out was set in an even organised by Game Over Cycles. The record was broken by Maciej “DOP” Bielicki, leading Polish stunter and the only stunter in Poland, who performs tricks on Harley-Davidson motorcycles. After examining evidence materials provided by the organisers, Guinness World Records has officially approved the record in July 2017.
New record stands at 4.5 km (2.8 mi) and was set in the first attempt. The bike on which the record was set is the latest unmodified Harley-Davidson Street Rod (750 ccm engine), which was unveiled in March 2017. The previous record was set last year in the USA, when on the bigger capacity engine (1200 ccm) the distance covered was 3.7 km (2.3 mi).
